This is the nicest gym in DFW, and one of the sleekest I’ve ever had the pleasure of training at.Great people, top of the line equipment, and a great atmosphere. Kyle and Jessica were incredibly hospitable and made sure I felt at home even though I was here for a couple of weeks.Even during peak busy times I never had to wait around for a platform or place to lift.10/10 amazing place, will definitely be back 🏋️♂️

However, my fitness journey reached new heights with the Hunger in the Wild training program. Their coaching skills and understanding of mechanics are truly impressive.Before embracing their program, my squat PR was 62kg, but by the end of the first cycle, it surged to an impressive 79kg. This gym has the ability to set you on the right path. My introduction to Olympic lifts was a revelation, given my initial lack of knowledge. Just one cycle later, I was confidently executing proficient lifts. I must also highlight the incredibly supportive community present here. I am shook. Joined Hunger in the Wild and have been consistently training with the team for the last several weeks. I’ve already hit and exceeded PRs that have either been stalled or I have previously failed at for the last few years and I’m absolutely thrilled.Their programming works. I appreciate that the workouts/training blocks are focused and help to address any weak areas in our big lifts. Nothing is a surprise during testing week because the previous weeks help set you up for success.The facility is fantastic, the coaching staff is attentive and the members are great and supportive. The energy in this gym is also top notch and magnetic. It makes me want to push myself when I see everyone around me going hard daily.If you’re serious about lifting and desire a programmatic and focused approach, this is the place to be!

I found Hunger in the Wild after trying almost every gym in the DFW area, I couldn’t find a good fit. I desired community with like minded people AND an intelligently designed program that helped me achieve my goals. HITW is the only place I’ve found where I can have both. The gym is welcoming of everyone regardless of fitness level. We have people who are just getting started and people who have been lifting for decades. You’ll find nothing other than support and people to cheer you on, inside or outside the gym. On top of those points, you also get to work with experienced coaches who will help you with form and keep you injury free, which is priceless. I’ve made more progress here in six months than I’ve made in years attending other group classes.
I have nothing but good things to say about HITW. It is a great facility, clean, and Jess and Kyle are very welcoming. I stumbled across them at a time that I was trying to find joy in exercise again. They made me feel at home and the already planned workouts and team environment made me look forward to going to the gym. I'm 3 months in and have no plans of going anywhere else.
HITW is a great community with excellent coaching. No matter where you are at in your weightlifting journey they have something for you. I was in Dallas for 6 months as a beginner/intermediate weightlifter. Lots of advanced lifters work out here too, but they will make you feel welcome. Don't be intimidated! I made a ton of progress with both strength and technique during my time training with this team. I also saw the progress others made. The coaches are knowledgeable and incredibly supportive.
